There was a time when the Glastonbury Festival could be relied upon to bring a number of loco-hauled trains to Castle Cary. Alas, recent years have seen nothing more interesting than 'Thames Turbo' units, which normally work no further west than Bedwyn. This pair is passing Bruton while returning empty to Old Oak Common on 25 June 2015 after working an 'extra' from Paddington. Electrification of the commuter routes to Bedwyn and Oxford will see these Class 165/166 units cascaded to Bristol to replace Class 150 and 158 units from services between Cardiff and Gloucester to the South Coast, including Weymouth.
